ALBEDO TELECOM announces the release of new software for the Zeus handheld substation tester.

The new software version 2.0.1 for the Zeus Substation Network Tester introduces a PRP Endpoint operating mode, making this Albedo solution the first handheld tester to support advanced PRP traffic generation, capture, and analysis, as well as PTP, SV, and GOOSE emulation and monitoring over PRP.
This software release also includes enhancements to PTP emulation under the IEEE C37.238 profile, a new dual PTP master emulation mode, and various additional improvements and bug fixes. Further details can be found in the release notes.
ALBEDO Zeus is a test instrument designed for the installation and maintenance of communication networks in the power industry.
